We welcome the new additional service which is a live aboard option. From Febuary 2016, we will be commissioning a 40ft catamaran power fishing boat to supplement our services.
My aim is to take people fishing or spearfishing to remote locations around the Indian Ocean. This will include: Seychelles Islands, including Farquhar Islands and Albadra Islands, Nosy Be (Off Madagascar) Castor banks (off Madagascar), St Brandon’s atoll (off Mauritius), Nacala and Ilha de Mozambique (off Mozambique) St Lazarus banks (off Pemba), Bazaruto (off Mozambique, Vilanculos).
I will be compiling an itinerary of where the boat will be at various times of the year, and then will accept bookings for those locations. The price is per boat, and so you will be required to bring your own group. Trips will typically be seven days and longer. Prices are expected to start at us$ 800 per day- details to follow.
The first six months the boat will be based in Mozambique, at various locations, including Bazaruto, for December 2015 and January 2016, Nacala, Ilha de Mozambique for February and March 2016 and St Lazarus banks for April through to end June 2016 -details to follow.
Please note that some of the features of this live aboard include:
- This is essentially a fishing boat, so it has been equipped as such. It has a live well, outriggers, downrigger, fighting chair and many rod holders.
- Sleeps 8, so place for 4-6 guests.
- 2 heads, including hot water showers.
- Huge Range, approximately 1000 nautical miles.
- Fly bridge.
- Good electronics, with radar and autohelm.
- Air conditioning, including in the cabins.
- Plenty of space.
- Chef’s galley, with stove and microwave.
- Ice maker and water maker.
- Top skipper and deckhand and chef.
- Good fridges and freezers.
- Certified to take up to 20 people on day trips.
- Maximum speed 16 knots.

- Accommodation (4 x double cabins)

- Unlimited Fishing, even at night
- Transport to and from the airport to the boat and back
- Fuel
You will be required to:
- Fly to the location where the boat is due to depart.
- Bring a satellite phone (if comms are required).
- Pay a 50% deposit to secure the dates.
